INDIANAPOLIS– For the first time since 2019, the University of Memphis men's golf program is headed to the NCAA Regionals. The Tigers earned the No. 10 seed in the Columbus Regional, which will be held at The Ohio State University Golf Club (Scarlet Course), the NCAA announced Wednesday in conjunction with Golf Channel.
The three-day, 54-hole regional will take place from Monday, May 18, through Wednesday, May 20. The top five teams as well as the low individual finisher not on an advancing team from the regional will advance to the NCAA Championships at Omni La
Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California on Friday, May 29.
This marks the third NCAA Tournament appearance for the Tigers under head coach Blake Smart. Memphis last reached the postseason in 2019 after clinching an automatic bid as champions of the American Conference.
Memphis enjoyed a standout 2025-26 campaign, claiming team titles at the Quail Valley Collegiate Invitational on Oct. 20 and the Memphis Intercollegiate on March 31. The Tigers proved their consistency by recording four top-three finishes throughout the season.
