MEMPHIS, Tenn. – University of Memphis men's tennis coach Chris Doerr has announced five players set to join Memphis for the 2026 season. Signees include transfers Benjamin Martin, Loan Lestir and Yannic Nittmann, as well as freshmen Theodor-Matei Ene and Alfie King.
"We are back! It's been a while since I've been this excited about a recruiting class. From the top to the bottom, we have been able to get experience, youth and a lot of talent. Most importantly I believe we have a much more team-oriented attitude which was a huge goal of ours. A huge shoutout to Eduardo Mena and Alec Robillard for this class. Lastly, thanks to so many people that supported us to bring in players like these. I wish it was January next week," said Doerr.
