Mena joined Doerr's coaching staff in August 2023 after six years at Tennessee Tech where he was an assistant coach (2018-21) before being promoted to associate head coach in 2021.
A native of Madrid, Spain, Mena played four years at Tennessee Tech (2014-18) before becoming a coach at his alma mater.
