2018 (Redshirt-Freshman):
Appeared in 12 matches for the Tigers, starting three of them … a key substitute, Alaniz scored two goals during the season, both after entering as a substitute … scored his first career goal against Cincinnati (9/23), the game winner … finished his second score against Temple (10/6), which equalized the match … registered a pair of assists, one against Central Arkansas (10/9) and one against Lipscomb (10/23) … was also named the AAC Rookie of the Week and was added to the AAC Weekly Honor Roll one time each.

2017 (Freshman):
Started two matches for the Tigers before sitting out the rest of the season due to an injury.

Prep:
Attended Jersey Village High School under the direction of Clinton Dyer where he helped lead his 2016 squad to the District Championship with a 10-2-1 overall record … a forward, he was named the All-District Offensive Most Valuable Player and Second-Team All-State after scoring 19 goals in 13 games with eight assists … competed for the Texas SC Houston Academy where he played for six seasons … is a two-time Texas U16 Academy Player’s Player of the Year … was a member of the FFA Club and National Honor Society.
