• Two-year starter at wide receiver for head coach Kris Pickle at New Hope High School
• Also returned punts and kickoffs
• Helped lead the Trojans to the Mississippi High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) Class 4A state playoffs in 2017
• In final two seasons, grabbed 106 receptions for 1,577 yards and 20 TDs
• As a senior, caught a team-high 60 passes for 850 yards and nine TDs
• Hauled in seven catches for 175 yards and three TDs against Shannon
• 2017 honors included: Mississippi Association of Coaches (MAC) Class 4A All-State, Class 4A All-Region 4 first team, Commercial Dispatch’s Large Schools All-Area and MAC Class 4A All-State preseason team
