Tigers to Host Jacksonville in Midweek Nonconference Clash Tuesday

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis men's soccer program will have a midweek nonconference match against Jacksonville on Tuesday at the Track & Soccer Complex.
Kickoff for the match is set for 7 p.m. CT with a broadcast on ESPN+.
SCOUTING THE TIGERS
Memphis (4-1-3, 0-0-2 American) is coming off its third-straight 2-2 draw, conceding the game-tying goal in the final 10 minutes of each of those three contests.
Offensively, Memphis has had minimal issues finding the back of the net, matching its season total of goals (19) from 2025 in half as many competitions. The Tigers have scored multiple goals in seven of eight matches played this season, including an active five-match streak with at least two goals. That includes Carson Banham, Miller Lashlee and Renan Syrio all sitting on at least three goals this year, led by Banham's four.
The Tiger defense continues to be anchored by consistency with the back in the form of Junior Saint Juste, Ethan Cook and Marko Stajnko, all sitting above 640 minutes played out of a possible maximum of 720. Cook also found the net for the first time in his career in Memphis' last match at FIU.
Junior goalkeeper Mathias Christensen is 0-0-3 in his first three matches as a Tiger, posting 15 total saves and carrying a 71.4 save percentage on 50 total shots faced.

Jacksonville (3-3-2, 0-2-2 Atlantic Sun) enters the Tuesday night contest on a four-match winless streak, going 0-2-2 in its last four matches, all being conference matches.
The Dolphin attack is currently just shy of scoring twice as many goals as they have conceded, with four players scoring multiple goals this season. Jacksonville's points leader is 2025 ASUN All-Freshman honoree Matias Tobon, who has four goals and two assists on the season. Right behind him is Emanuel Cappello, a sophomore who scored a hat trick against NCCAA side, Trinity College of Jacksonville.
In net, Simen Havig returns for his second collegiate season. Last season, he recorded his first collegiate shutout against the Tigers and currently carries a 1.14 goals-against-average with 25 saves.
SERIES HISTORY AGAINST JACKSONVILLE
Memphis' series with Jacksonville is highly limited, with the first-ever matchup between the Tigers and Dolphins being last season.
Last season's contest ended in a scoreless draw with neither side reaching double figures in a single statistic. Nine Tigers on the current roster appeared in that match, with Saad Chaouki and Anthony Grudko each recording a pair of shots.
