Haley Prewett

Haley Prewett, who has nearly a decade of experience working in collegiate athletics business, joined the Memphis Athletic Department as Senior Associate Athletic Director/Chief Financial Officer in Jan. 2024. Prior to that, she was the Senior Associate Athletics Director for Business Operations at Georgia Southern beginning in 2020.
Prewett began her role with the Eagles in July 2020 and oversaw the business office for the department. In addition to creating and maintaining the $30 million-plus annual budget, Prewett oversaw payment processing for all athletic department and Athletic Foundation expenditures. She also assisted in developing all departmental contractual agreements and had oversight of athletics human resources. She also had sport supervision of women’s soccer and women's golf.
Prewett came to Statesboro after working at Ole Miss for over four years (January 2016-July 2020). There, she served as the assistant director of athletics finance with the department after being elevated from an accountant role. Among other duties, she assisted in developing the over $100 million athletics department budget annually through serving on the budget committee, helped develop annual expense budgets for specific sports and departments through working directly with head coaches, directors of operations and department heads and was also responsible for monitoring assigned budgets within the department throughout each fiscal year.
A native of Russellville, Ark., Prewett graduated from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Accounting in 2014. She earned a pair of master’s degrees from UCF, first her M.B.A. in 2015 and then in sport business management in 2016. She also earned her Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in 2018.
