Howell started with Memphis Athletics in November 2022 and has worked his way up through the Ticket and Development offices.

Howell currently serves as the Associate Director of Development where he is responsible for identifying, cultivating and stewarding potential donors for all University of Memphis athletic programs.

Prior to his move to the Development Office, Howell was the Coordinator for Athletic Ticket Operations. During his time, Howell assisted in sustaining and selling season tickets, multi-game packages and memberships while working as the lead supervisor for Memphis baseball ticket operations. He also helped manage customer relations for the ticket office, including season ticket members and donors.

Howell started his career as a student worker in the Ticket Office where he helped assist ticket holders with mobile ticketing needs and fulfilled ticket transactions for all ticketed university sporting events.

Howell earned his M.S. in Sport and Hospitality Management from the University of Memphis in 2024. He is an alumna of Grand Valley State University where he earned his B.B.A. in Finance.

When Howell isn’t fishing or golfing (poorly), he enjoys spending time with his fiancé, Cameron, and their dog, Lady.
