Justin Harrell

Justin Harrell joined the Memphis Athletic Department in January 2019 as a student assistant before eventually moving into his current role as Assistant Director of Athletic Turf and Grounds in November 2024.Â
In his current role, Harrell is responsible for maintenance of all athletic grounds, including but not limited to Tigers Softball Complex and the soccer playing surface at the Billy J. Murphy Track & Soccer Complex.Â
Prior to working with Memphis, Harrell spent three years with Ripley Parks and Recreation, maintaining athletic fields and park grounds, equipment and the pool.Â
He holds an Associate of Science degree from Dyersburg State Community College, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Memphis.
