MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Tiger men's soccer team picked up a point tonight as they drew a 1-1 tie with #13 Charlotte.

After today's game, Memphis moves to 5-2-3 for the season and 2-1-1 in American Athletic Conference play.

KEY MOMENTS

Memphis got on the board first in the 7' after Alberto Cruz found the back of the net following assists from Jose Ojeda and Lineker Rodrigues dos Santos.
The 49ers would score just seven minutes later when Jonathan Nyandjo maneuvered through the Tiger defense for a shot about 10 yards out.
The Tigers would see multiple chances to take the lead but were unable to connect.

NOTABLES

Colin Welsh had an eventful night in goal, making seven saves in 90 minutes of work.
Memphis won the battle on corner kicks 11-7.

The Tigers will hit the road when they travel to Philadelphia to take on the Owls of Temple University on Sunday evening. Kick-off is scheduled for 6 p.m. CT.
