ORLANDO, Fla. – The Memphis offense struggled today against the Knights of UCF and eventually falling 8-0 in six innings.

Following today's game, Memphis moves to 15-26 overall and 1-8 in AAC play.

How it happened:

Kendall Lee recorded the Tiger's first hit of the day in the top of the first inning after she singled to right field. Dafne Mercado would be the second Memphis player to reach base when she drew a walk in the top of the third inning.
Mercado would collect the team's second hit of the game in the top of the fifth with a rip down the left field line.
The Knights would collect runs in all but the fifth inning to take the 8-0 final.

Notables:

Along with Lee and Mercado, Camryn Wineinger reached base off a fourth inning walk.
Mikayla Hoschak got the start today going 1.0 inning with one strikeout. Hallie Siems and Jenna Gibson both made appearances today with Gibson finishing the last 3.1 innings of work with one strikeout recorded.
