MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Following its second win inside the Elma Roane Fieldhouse this season, the University of Memphis women's basketball team will take a quick trip up to New York to face Columbia on Wednesday evening before hosting Southern Mississippi on Sunday afternoon.
Wednesday's game is scheduled for a 6 p.m. CT tip-off while Sunday's match in Memphis will begin at 2 p.m. CT. Both games can be streamed on ESPN+.
Memphis (3-5) is coming off a 100-88 win over Troy on Saturday where four Tiger players reached double-figure scoring. Madison Griggs led all players with 22 points while Kai Carter, Alasia Smith and Ki'Ari Cain combined for 53 of the team's points.
Cain also had a special celebration along with the win; the fifth-year senior out of Sumter, S.C surpassed the 1,000-career point mark with a completed and-one midway through the second quarter. She is the fourth active player on the roster to surpass this feat (Griggs, Carter, Smith).
