Tigers Jump in Final Round for Fourth Place Finish at Everett Buick GMC Classic

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The University of Memphis men's golf team had a big push to finish the Everett Buick GMC Classic for a fourth-place finish.

"We made a nice charge at the end of the round today to move up the board and get some momentum from the week," head coach Blake Smart said. "Diego was really good today, but his trend has been rising after a good week of practice at home. We have one more event to wrap up the fall and I'm looking forward to getting back on the course."

Diego Lourenco picked up his first top five finish for the season after shooting nine under for the tournament and tying his career round low during round three (65) today. Yixiang Wang shot himself into the top 20 with a 215 final score.

Andrew Baucum (216), Jackson McCommon (225) and Ty Werynski (231) and finished T-20^th, T55th, and T-79^th, respectively.
