Tigers Fall to No. 15 Missouri State

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Memphis men's soccer dropped its first match in 40 days to No. 15 Missouri State Tuesday night by a score of 3-1. The Tigers played from behind from the 34th minute on and weren't able to recover.
With the loss, Memphis falls to 6-5-2 overall and Missouri State moves to 9-2-1.
The Tigers failed to extend their current unbeaten streak, while Missouri State extends its own unbeaten streak to nine matches.

- 34' – Missouri State would score first in the match, as Harry Jolley connected on a header from a Tyler Caton corner kick.
- 58' – The Bears would extend their lead to two after Jesus Barea converted from a succession of assists credited to James Jennings and Jared Harlock.
- 71' – Memphis was able to steal some momentum late in the match, as Logan Longo would record his fourth goal off the season on a header from a Lleyton Imparato corner kick.
- 88' – The Tigers' momentum would be short-lived, as Ollie Bate would slide up the left wing before passing to Jesus Barea, who would score his brace for Missouri State's third and final goal of the match.
- Memphis did not attempt a corner kick during the first half, while Missouri State took five corners as the Bears held possession for nearly eighty percent of the half.
- The three goals were tied for the most allowed by Filip Sabatti this season, as he previously conceded three goals against Central Arkansas.
- This snaps Sabatti's streak of four straight clean sheets coming in to the match.
- Logan Longo officially set a new season-high in goals with his fourth of the season.
- That goal also was the fourth time that Imparato and Longo have combined for a goal.
- The lone yellow card was assessed to Anthony DiFalco.
