Zych Ready for 2024 NCAA Rifle Championships

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – University of Memphis sophomore Gabriela Zych will head to Morgantown, W.V. to compete in the 2024 NCAA Rifle Championships from Friday, March 8 through Saturday, March 9. Live video and live targets for both days of competition can be found at GoTigersGo.com.

Zych earned individual berths to compete in both smallbore and air rifle at the NCAA Championships this week.

Zych had one of the best individual seasons in program history this year, leading the team with averages of 586.846 in smallbore, 595.528 in air rifle and 1182.384 in aggregate. Over the course of the season, she set the program records in both smallbore and aggregate and tied the school mark in air rifle.

For her efforts this year, Zych was named First-Team All-GARC in smallbore, air rifle and combined – just one of three student-athletes in the conference to accomplish the feat.
