Tigers Back on Course at Pirate Collegiate Classic

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis women's golf team is back on the course this weekend when it heads out east to Greenville, N.C. for the Pirate Collegiate Classic hosted by East Carolina.
In the team's first tournament of the season, Nutsanun Khamphueng scored a new career-low with a 215 final score and a fifth-place finish in the individual competition at the Green Wave Invitational. Khamphueng, who collected her second career top five finish, finished just one stroke behind the three-way tie for second place and four behind individual winner, Jordan Fischer (LSU).
The Tigers finished the tournament in fifth place at 37 over par.
Competing for the Tigers will be Khamphueng, Emily Wilson, Nicole Strydom, Tilly Garfoot and Claire Swathwood.
Greenville Country Club is a 5,991-yard, par-72 course that will host 16 schools over a two-day tournament. Memphis will tee-off on Monday, Sept. 30 ranging from 8:06 a.m. to 8:42 a.m. CT. Live results can be found HERE.
