CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Memphis track and field will begin postseason competition on Thursday at the American Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships.
Hosted by Charlotte, the meet will span Thursday to Saturday. Event schedules, live results and ESPN+ stream information can be found at the links above.Â
Junior thrower Sascha Salesius Schmidt will be looking for his third consecutive conference gold medal in the shot put, having won at the indoor championships in February and at last season's outdoor championships. 14 Memphis competitions currently rank in the top three for outdoor marks in the conference, listed below.
