Women’s Tennis Team, Eight Individuals Earn ITA All-Academic Awards

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis women's tennis team received several academic honors, including a Team Academic Award and eight individual Scholar-Athlete awards from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) on Monday.
As a team, the Tigers were recognized as an All-Academic Team after posting a 3.86 grade point average for the spring semester and finishing with a 3.77 for the 2024-25 season.
To be named an ITA All-Academic Team, a program must have a GPA of 3.2 or above, while all student-athletes on the roster and all varsity letter winners factor into the team cumulative GPA for the most recent academic year.
In 2025, 1,462 Division I women's tennis student-athletes were named an ITA Scholar-Athlete while 222 women's tennis programs were awarded the All-Academic Team distinction.
In addition to the team recognition, eight Tigers were named ITA Scholar Athletes, including, Sofia Mykhailets, Alice Amendola, Rebecca Frant, Miriam Grossman, Emily Meyer, Carlota Farres Carreter, Leonie Moeller and Alyssa Richter.
