KEY MOMENTS
- 4' – Charlotte was out to an early lead when a pair of quick passes from Natuski Ogata and Michael Raggett ended up at the feet of Larry Noel.
- 10' – Memphis rebounded quickly, with a give-and-go between Renan Syrio and Eben McIntyre ending with Syrio's eighth goal of the season.
- 11' – Noel gave Charlotte its lead back when a shot by Ogata was saved and caromed over to Noel on the wide side of the net.
- 13' – Memphis made it four goals in 13 minutes when Keanan Bader sent a ball in from a corner kick, with Eben McIntyre rising above everyone in the box to get a head on the shot and score.
- 24' – Charlotte's Michael Raggett scored his 10th goal of the season on a slow, rolling shot that found the bottom-left corner.
- 31' – Memphis goalkeeper Mathias Christensen was substituted out at the next stoppage point at the 31-minute mark after allowing three goals and making three saves.
- 42' – The Tigers drew level when Keanan Bader scored directly from a free kick.
- With that goal putting the match at 3-3, substitute goalkeeper Logan Haddad would earn the result in the match.
- 52' – A dangerous ball into the box left Noel open in short space, where he completed his hat trick to help Charlotte regain its lead.
- 68' – Memphis had a golden opportunity stringing together five shots in the matter of three minutes, including three from point-blank range.
- During the stretch, Charlotte's Tom Carmeli recorded two saves and had one team save as a defender blocked a shot that was on target.
- The sequence went to video review as part of the ball appeared to cross the line while making contact with Charlotte's Carmeli, but review could not determine if the entirety of the ball crossed the line.
- 75-77' – Opportunities again came in droves for Memphis, with four shots being registered over two minutes.
- 87-88' – The Tigers again pushed with late chances, having three corners and three shots in the span of two minutes as the clock was winding down, with Miller Lashlee's saved shot being the final of the match.

- Now with 36 goals on the season, Memphis has its highest single-season goal output since 2011, when a Mark Sherrod-led Memphis squad scored 37 times, with 19 from Sherrod.
- Memphis' 11 multi-goal matches are the most in a season since reaching the same mark during the 2012 campaign.
- The Tigers put up 26 shots against the 49ers, the most since recording 30 against Cincinnati in 2015.

- Mathias Christensen took no decision in the match, conceding three times and logging three saves.
