T&F Meets Two & Three: UAB Green and Gold Invite and UAB Invite

BIRMINGHAM, ala.– Memphis track and field opens their 2026 slate in Birmingham, Alabama for the UAB Green and Gold Invite and UAB Invite on Friday, February 6th, and Saturday, February 7th.
The Tigers are yet to compete in 2026 due to the inclement weather in Memphis, withdrawing from the Lenny Lyles Invitational last weekend after the Bob Teel Invitational was canceled.
These two one-day meets will be held inside the Birmingham Crossplex with UAB as the host school. The UAB Green and Gold Invite will take place on Friday, followed by the UAB Invite on Saturday. Links to schedules and live results can be found above. These meets will officially open the 2026 slate for Memphis, following a string of weather-related disruptions.
In the first meet of the season in December, the Tigers recorded 10 top-five performances with 21 personal records during at the Birmingham Icebreaker. Alex Bobak won the men's one mile, and Kaseiana Meriweather was victorious in the women's 200 meter with both athletes setting their personal bests as well.
