Fall 2026 Schedule Unveiled for Men’s Soccer
Jun 25, 2026 | Men's Soccer
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – University of Memphis men's soccer head coach Richard Mulrooney has revealed the full slate for the fall 2026 season Thursday afternoon.
The 16-match regular season slate will have the Tigers face off against three participants from last season's NCAA Tournament, including a road contest in September against last year's No. 16 national seed in Furman.
As with last season, due to ongoing efforts in the construction of Liza Wellford Fletcher Stadium, temporary seating in the form of bleachers on the track will be available. Fans are encouraged to bring their own seating for home matches.
The season kicks off with a pair of home exhibitions against Jefferson College on Aug. 8 and Blue Mountain Christian University on Aug. 11 before closing out the exhibition slate on the road at Central Arkansas on Aug. 15.
Memphis begins the regular season on the road against Belmont on Aug. 20, looking to avenge a 2-0 loss last season and extend an active seven-match winning streak in the Music City. The following Monday on Aug. 24, Memphis plays host to ACC powerhouse, North Carolina. The Tigers will then head north for a pair of road matches at Ohio State and Butler on Aug. 28 and 31, respectively.
September opens with a Senior Day matchup against UNC Asheville on the 4th before traveling to South Carolina for a nonconference contest at Furman on Sept. 12. Memphis then opens American Conference play on Sept. 20 at home against Florida Atlantic before then traveling to Miami on the 26th to play FIU. Memphis' month ends with a third-straight contest against a school from the Sunshine State by hosting Jacksonville on Sept. 29.
October will see Memphis play home matches against Missouri State and Lipscomb on the 3rd and 6th, respectively. The following weekend on the 11th, the Tigers travel up to the City of Brotherly Love to take on Temple. Oct. 17 will see Memphis host UAB for Alumni Weekend, with the last time the Tigers facing off against the Blazers at the Billy J. Murphy Track & Soccer Complex serving as the catalyst of Memphis' 2024 American Conference regular season title. A road match at South Florida on the 23rd will be followed by a home match against Charlotte on the 28th to end the month of October.
Memphis' regular season finale is set for Nov. 1 at Tulsa before moving into American Conference Tournament action.
This season's conference tournament will take place from Nov. 6-14, with first-round matches being held at the higher seed's campus, with the semifinal and final taking place at the top regular-season seed's campus.
