Schlueter Named American Conference Honorable Mention

IRVING, Texas – University of Memphis senior libero Abigail Schlueter was named to the American Conference weekly honorable mention list, the conference announced Monday.
The selection marks the first weekly conference honor of Schlueter's career. She is the first Tiger to earn honorable mention recognition since Janyah Henderson on Sept. 1, 2025.
During opening weekend, Schlueter recorded 51 digs (4.25 digs per set) along with 10 assists. The Rock City, Illinois, native posted 20 plus dig performances against both Lipscomb and College of Charleston, and she currently ranks second in The American in digs per set.

Memphis will travel to Lafayette, Louisiana, for the Sawyer Camillo Memorial Classic. The Tigers open tournament play against Southeastern Louisiana on Friday, Sept. 4 at 2 p.m. before facing host team Louisiana on Saturday at 1 p.m.
