2019 (Sophomore):
Played in a pair of matches in her second season in Blue and Gray … helped preserve two shutouts in her two appearances … made season debut against Little Rock (Aug. 23) … played a season-high 34 minutes against Southeastern Louisiana (Sept. 12).
2018 (Freshman):
Played in five matches … tallied first collegiate goal in regular-season finale against Tulsa (Oct. 26) … logged a season-high 10 minutes to open conference play against Cincinnati (Sept. 20).
Prior to Memphis:
Played soccer for the Cape Breton Football Club … led Team Nova Scotia to a bronze medal in the Canada Games by scoring five goals in five matches … also participated in the 2017 Senior Women’s Canadian National Championship, leading Halifax Dunbrack, the squad representing Nova Scotia, in goals.
Personal:
Currie is the daughter of Tom Currie and Stacey Northgrave ... enjoys coaching youth soccer, traveling, cooking and working out at the gym in her free time ... is also an avid skier, hiker and basketball player ... was a member of Student Government and a program called ‘Best Buddies’ which works with special needs students at her school ... chose the University of Memphis because she wanted to challenge herself athletically in an environment where education is a priority.Â
