The Tigers head into their final regular season contest after defeating UConn on the road in their previous matchup. The 2-1 decision improved the Tigers to 4-7-4 overall, with a 2-2-2 conference record. Scoring for Memphis came from Alec Velez and Brantley Bice in the second half. It was Velez's first goal and Bice's second goal this season.
Currently sitting in sixth place, a win against a conference foe would greatly help the Tigers' chances of clinching a postseason berth. Memphis is seeking to return to the conference tournament for the third time in four years under head coach Richard Mulrooney.
