KEY MOMENTS
- 64' – After a scoreless first half, the Owls found themselves on the attack. A barrage of quick passes led to a goal from Noah Kvifte with assists credited to Mamadou Diarra and Arthur Widiez.
- 67' – Normally a substitution would not garner attention, but Lleyton Imparato and Luciano Galizzi were reinserted into the match.
- 75' – Less than ten minutes after coming on, Galizzi would corral an Anders Bordoy pass and beat the goalkeeper to tie the match at one goal apiece.
- 81' – Lleyton Imparato would collect a deflected shot in the box and find the back of the net to give Memphis a late lead.
- 86-90' – Florida Atlantic would attempt one final series of attacks. The Owls would register five shots in the final four minutes, but none would find the target, either sailing high or connecting with the leg of a Memphis defender for a blocked shot.
- Imparato's goal puts him back in the lead for goals on the team with five.
- Previously, Imparato and Logan Longo were tied with four goals.
- Memphis snaps a three-match winless streak.
- Four yellow cards were assessed during the match, with two going to Memphis' Dino Stavros and Anders Bordoy.
- Kerfalla Toure and Zach Hassell were assessed yellow cards for Florida Atlantic.
- As it currently stands, Memphis can clinch either an outright regular season championship or a share of the title with the current scenarios.
- With a Charlotte loss to UAB on Sunday, Memphis will clinch the top overall tournament seed and at least a share of the title.
- If Charlotte defeats UAB on Sunday, Memphis will need to win against Florida International to earn the top seed and at least a share of a title.
- If Memphis earns a win over Florida International and Charlotte earns a draw or loss in either of its remaining matches, Memphis will earn an outright regular season title.
