MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Tigers men's soccer, fueled by a pair of goals from second half substitutes, completed a 2-1 comeback against Florida Atlantic on Saturday night.

Memphis moves to 7-6-2 (4-1-1) overall with the victory and the Owls fall to 6-5-3 (2-3-1).

With alumni in attendance, including members of the 2004 Conference USA championship team, Memphis found the net twice and kept itself in line for a chance at the regular season title.

KEY MOMENTS

64' – After a scoreless first half, the Owls found themselves on the attack. A barrage of quick passes led to a goal from Noah Kvifte with assists credited to Mamadou Diarra and Arthur Widiez.
67' – Normally a substitution would not garner attention, but Lleyton Imparato and Luciano Galizzi were reinserted into the match.
75' – Less than ten minutes after coming on, Galizzi would corral an Anders Bordoy pass and beat the goalkeeper to tie the match at one goal apiece.
81' – Lleyton Imparato would collect a deflected shot in the box and find the back of the net to give Memphis a late lead.
86-90' – Florida Atlantic would attempt one final series of attacks. The Owls would register five shots in the final four minutes, but none would find the target, either sailing high or connecting with the leg of a Memphis defender for a blocked shot.
