MIAMI – Memphis men's soccer clinches the top seed in the AAC Championship and at least a share of the regular season conference title with a 2-2 draw at FIU on Friday night.

Memphis moves to 7-6-3 (4-1-2) and will host the semifinals and final of the AAC Championship, while FIU moves to 4-5-6 (2-2-3).

After the Panthers dominated play early and went up one goal in the match, the Tigers struck twice quickly and gained a lead going into the half. Midway through the second half, FIU would answer for the final goal in the match to finish with a draw.

KEY MOMENTS

27' – Eduardo Mustre would get the Panthers on the board first in the match. He would turn in the box and find the bottom left corner on a tight, angled shot.
40' – After a Konstantinos Marneros pass found Adam Yousfi in open space, Yousfi would hit a beautiful ball to the top left corner from about 25 meters away.
41' – 68 seconds later, Anders Bordoy would find Gabriel Christensen flying into the box where he connected on a header to swing the momentum even further in Memphis' favor.
66' – Prince Ngeleka would bring the match level at two goals apiece with a lofted shot that found the far corner.
84' – The Panthers would threaten with multiple chances deep in the box, but Memphis would quell the opposing attack entering the 86^th minute.

NOTABLES

Yousfi's goal was his third of the season, with all of them coming after entering as a substitute.
- He currently ranked third in goals for Memphis this season.
The 68 seconds between Yousfi's and Christensen's goals is the shortest amount of time between two Tiger goals this season.
Anders Bordoy earned his second-straight assist, having assisted on Luciano Galizzi's goal against Florida Atlantic in the previous match in a similar fashion.
For just the second match this season, Memphis did not receive a single card.
