Tigers Hit the Road for First Conference Away Matches

Memphis, Tenn. – The University of Memphis volleyball team will travel to Florida this weekend to play at Florida Atlantic on Friday at 5 p.m. CT and South Florida on Sunday at 1 p.m. CT. Both games can be streamed on ESPN+.
Memphis (7-7, 1-1) has accumulated 618 kills, averaging 12.68 kills per set this season. Hannah Jones leads the team with 144 kills and is ranked sixth in the conference while Tiffany Snook follows behind with 94 kills so far.
Memphis is averaging 12.00 assists per set, led by Jordan Heatherly, who has recorded 450 assists on the season and is ranked fourth in the AAC. Heatherly has also tallied 23 service aces so far and ranks second in the conference. Memphis leads the AAC averaging 1.94 aces per set.
Abigail Schlueter leads Memphis with 4.16 digs per set, placing her third in the AAC while adding in 204 digs on the season. Snook brought a huge presence at the net last weekend, getting her hands on five blocks.
Florida Atlantic (9-5, 1-1) is coming off a 3-0 sweep over Charlotte. The Owls are led by both outside hitters Valeria Rosado and Katelynn Robine. Rosado has accumulated 162 kills and 133 digs so far, while Robine has tallied 153 kills. Florida Atlantic is ranked second in the conference in both kills and assists.
South Florida (6-7, 2-0) is undefeated in conference play, with wins over Charlotte and East Carolina. The Bulls are led by Maria Clara Andrade, who had 16 kills in each of her last two games and ranks second in the conference in kills. As a team, South Florida leads the conference in kills and assists.
