ATLANTA, Ga. – The University of Memphis women's tennis team suffered its second loss of the season after falling 4-1 to Georgia Tech Sunday afternoon.

Memphis (0-2) went down early in the match after the Yellow Jackets took the doubles point following wins from Given Roach/Alejandra Cruz and Kate Sharabura/Scarlett Nicholson. In singles competition, Leonie Moeller cruised to her second individual win of the weekend with a 7-5, 6-1 decision.

Sofia Mykhaliets made it an interesting match on her end, forcing a tiebreaker in match three but ultimately falling 3-6, 7-6 [7-4], 3-6.

The Tigers are back on the road next weekend for the ITA Kickoff Weekend at Stanford. Memphis will take on the Cardinal on Friday afternoon starting at 4 p.m. CT.
