MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis women's tennis team returned home for the first time in nearly a month to take on the University of Iowa inside Leftwich Tennis Center Friday night. The Tigers battled with the Hawkeyes, taking it to the final singles matches before falling 4-2.

After Iowa took the doubles point, Leonie Moeller and Sofia Mykhailets both picked up ranked wins over No. 76 Tereza Dejnozkova and No. 113 Dianne Hayashida, respectively.

Mykhailets and Alyssa Richter also collected a doubles win with a 6-2 decision over Jessica Matthews/Barbora Pokorna.
