OXFORD, Miss. -- Memphis track and field will split for the final time this season over the weekend, competing in the Joe Walker Invite and the Joey Haines Invite on Friday, April 3, and Saturday, April 4.
Hosted by the University of Mississippi and Southeastern Missouri, respectively, both competitions will begin Friday afternoon and continue into Saturday evening. Event schedules and live results can be found at the links above.
The Tigers won six events at last weekend's Don McGarey Invitational, including Sascha Salesius Schmidt's fourth victory of the year in the shot put, netting him AAC Men's Field Athlete of the Week. Jazmyn James won the women's shot put for the second consecutive weekend, and Gabriel Koletsi and Maddie Roberts each won the men's and women's javelin throw, respectively.
