Tigers to Play in Bearcat Invitational this Monday and Tuesday

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis men's golf team is set to compete in the Bearcat Invitational hosted by Cincinnati this coming Monday and Tuesday at Coldstream Country Club.

The par-71, 7,279-yard course plays host to 18 different schools, including Memphis over the two-day tournament.

Yixiang Wang is coming off one of his best collegiate performances after taking a share of third place at the Argent Financial Classic. His 12 under par finish earned him his best finish with the Tigers as well as a career-best round score of 66 on day three.

As a team, Memphis brought home a share of fourth place last weekend after Christian Morneau and Cian O'Connor helped with 215 scores each while Diego Lourenco and Tobey Kim rounded out the group at two and three over par, respectively.

Round one will begin on Monday with an 8 a.m. shotgun start. Live results can be found HERE.
