Tigers Tussle with Tulane Sunday Afternoon at FedExForum
Jan 31, 2026 | Men's Basketball
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Memphis Tigers are back home Sunday looking to stack momentum after their most complete performance of the season, a 92-65 dismantling of Florida Atlantic on Thursday night. That win pushed Memphis to 10-10 overall and 5-3 in American Conference play and set the stage for a key February home date against the Tulane Green Wave.
Tulane arrives in Memphis sliding the opposite direction. The Green Wave have dropped five straight, falling to 12-9 overall and 3-5 in league play and now face a Tigers group that has turned FedExForum into one of the league's toughest stops.
Memphis has won 18-straight home games against American Conference opponents, a streak that dates back to Jan. 31, 2023. Since Penny Hardaway took over prior to the 2018-19 season, the Tigers are 58-9 at home in conference play.
That said, Tulane has been a tricky matchup in recent years. Memphis has dropped at least one game to the Green Wave in three of the last four seasons, though the Tigers have won three straight in the series entering Sunday.
One of the biggest recent developments for Memphis has been the emergence of Aaron Bradshaw. The 7-footer enters Sunday with three straight games of 10+ points for the first time in his career, putting up 15 points against FAU earlier this week.
Bradshaw now owns eight double-figure scoring games this season after totaling just 11 combined across his previous two years at Ohio State and Kentucky, a clear sign of his growing role in the Tigers' frontcourt.
Senior guard Sincere Parker is also trending upward. Now second on the team in scoring at 9.9 points per game. He has reached double figures in five of his last seven games.
