Tigers Host Bluff City Showdown in Final Non-Conference Weekend of Season

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Following a 3-0 weekend with sweeps over Queens and Illinois State, the Memphis Tigers will host their final tournament of the season when Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Central Arkansas and Little Rock make their way to the Bluff City Showdown.

Jasmyn Tate and Miaya Smith both had monster weekends, tallying 61 combined kills over three matches. Along with them, Kate Bass, Tabytha Toelke and Gigi Crescenzo all recorded double-digit kills while Loren Robertson dished out 102 assists over the weekend.

Memphis (7-3) will play host to Arkansas-Pine Bluff (2-8) on Friday afternoon at 12 p.m. and Central Arkansas (5-4) at 7 p.m. while facing off against Little Rock (2-7) on Saturday at 12 p.m. All games will take place in the Larry O. Finch Center.
