Tigers Are Back on the Road Headed to UAB and UTSA

Memphis, Tenn. – The University of Memphis volleyball team will be back on the road playing at UAB on Wednesday at 7 p.m. and at UTSA on Friday at 6 p.m. Both matches will be available to stream on ESPN+.
Memphis has accumulated 1,120 kills this season, led by Hannah Jones with 280 so far. Tiffany Snookfollows behind with 178, while Clara Bednarek has tallied 171.
Memphis averages 11.83 assists per set, led by Jordan Heatherly, who has recorded 829 assists on the season. Heatherly has also tallied 38 aces and is second in the AAC. Memphis leads the conference averaging 1.80 aces per set.
Defensively, Abigail Schlueter leads Memphis with 4.15 digs per set, placing her fourth in the AAC. Schlueter has 361 digs on the season.
UAB (9-14, 4-8) is coming off a 3-0 loss to East Carolina. The Blazers are led by pin hitters Jorda Crook with 293 kills and Mia Reese with 241 kills. UAB as a team is ranked third in the conference in service aces, averaging 1.63 per set.
UTSA (8-17, 2-10) is coming into the weekend off back-to-back losses to Tulane and Rice. The Roadrunners are led by Opposite Mia Sorensen with 241 kills and 87 block touches. UTSA leads the conference in blocks, averaging 2.25 per set.
